I enjoy taking maternity photos because there is such a wide array of emotions involved...from introspective to wacky! Brad and Annie are such a sweet couple and it was clear their baby was going to be surrounded with love...and humor! Here are some photos of our shoot at Cathedral Park under the St. John's Bridge.

My beautiful son, Zane, was born in October and I've been occupied with being a new Mama. He is 4 months old now and doing great, my husband and I couldn't be happier with him. Here are a few shots I took during his 3 month photo shoot. He is going to be very accustomed to having a camera pointed at him that's for sure!!

We walked around his office building in NE Portland so we could capture a good mix of plain backgrounds as well as cityscapes since he wanted these for multiple uses. In the end we had a good mix of professional and casual shots, good work Phil!

This is not PC here in the US, but quite typical everywhere else. Huh...who knew! I learned this when I was chatting with Sara as we shot some portraits of her to include in with her application to teach English in Korea. I've heard through the grapevine that Sara got the job and is now happily teaching away. So if anyone else needs some business portraits taken give me a call!! :)

Personally I would have waited to schedule the shoot for Hawaii, buy maybe that's just me! :) Everyone was so much fun and you could really tell that this is a tight knit family. Towards the end I even got to try out my new fun toy. It's a fisheye attachment and the kids loved it!!

He was a great worker!! He picked up sticks, entertained the dog, kept track of the bocci balls for us, and made piles of rocks. It was amazing to see the backyard through a child's eyes. Everything was exciting! I couldn't help but pick up my camera and try to capture some of it. Plus, his blue eyes are amazing!

For those of you who didn't know, I was married in Sept. of 2007 so Karen Lueder Imagery had to go :) This is my new baby and I would like to thank my very good friend and design genius, Jaden, for putting this together for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As I figure this whole blogging thing out the posts will get more exciting I promise. I might even throw some pictures in there to spice things up a bit. After all, this is a photography website! In the meantime, please browse around and let me know what you think. I hope you like the new Snapdragon Imagery.

Have a fun and safe Halloween!!
